My favorite is Binging With Babish. I first heard about him from an Admin on another forum I was on, and I was hooked immediately. Here's the description from his website: Binging with Babish is a cooking show dedicated to discovering what the delectable (and occasionally horrible) foods from fiction actually taste like.

Seriously, what's not to like about a guy that does recipes inspired by the video game God of War: Ragnorok? Yeah, I also own the God of War cookbook, so I might be a bit biased.

He has a whole YouTube channel, but if you don't want to watch videos, he also has a website where he posts recipes and pictures as well.

I absolutely adore Chili Pepper Madness. The hotter (the pepper) the better. His recipes hit all the right flavour notes for me. The ONLY issue is some of his recipes contain peppers (or ingredients) that are not available north of the border.

If you want fantastically flavourful recipes, this is the one

I don't know how I've never heard of this one! Definitely adding this to my list of shows to check out.

We add peppers and heat to just about everything we make. If a recipe calls for diced tomatoes you can guarantee I'm substituting it with a can of hot Rotel. Probably why I'm not allowed to cook Italian food now that I think about it. 🌶

Kent Rollins on YouTube. If you like to cook cowboy style or outside on a stove or campfire this guy pretty much does it all. Besides that we think he's interesting to watch.

I never watch YouTube cooking shows. I don't stream TV either (well I had to for Thursday Night football last season). We do have smart TV's wifi and internet. It is my wife that watches these things. Mostly movies.
I watch mostly on TV. PBS, FoodHD, CookHD and Taste. I set all to record new episodes of the show I like.
I watch most on PBS. They are showing all the old Julia Child's shows and they still are great. Things have sure changed and some of the thinking in cooking has as well. But its cooking and its good cooking and there are excellent chefs to learn from. I get something each time.
Now there are some so-called chefs I do not watch and some real chefs I do not watch.
Cooking TV and my parents are what got me into cooking at a very young age.

I don't watch many YouTube cooking chefs unless it's one I want to learn a technique from. Food, Cooking, PBS and some of the competition shows on Fox are what I prefer.
Love Ramsey going nuts with some of those cooks.

BUT I draw the line at his kid shows. Can't stand watching little kids get upset. I know he switches on the "kindness" button with kids but still........

That has to be a TV act or he never visits his own restaurants because if he acted that way with his employees he would be standing in that kitchen all alone.
I doubt much of his insanity on Hell's Kitchen is real, but at the same time I have heard he's a perfectionist so anything is possible. There are chefs out there that are that difficult and demanding yet they always seem to have a full staff. I think it's a case of "how much can I tolerate for how long vs. what I'm learning".

We love Master Chef and like MC Jr. Some of the kids get all over my last nerve for the first 2-3 weeks but once they settle (or get eliminated), they're really impressive. I'm still on the fence about Next Level Chef, though.

Yes I will search for shows or articles for help on certain dishes. But I do not care for competition cooking shows. I want step be step instruction from the chef. And watch the methods he or she uses. To learn what I can.
But I have always been this way. One reason why I rarely watch a movie and have not been to the theater in more than 30 years.
I like the cooking shows that go around the world. I think one is called Delicious Destinations? They make me hungry.

With a black eye...lol
All kidding aside. I would not last on any job with someone who did not treat me with respect. I would never put up with things like that. I never had a problem telling whomever to GFY and walk out. Like I would tell them. "I had a job before this one and will have a job after this one".
