Chili Seasoning

INGREDIENTS
  • 5 Tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Cumin
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Onion Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Pepper

  • INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Add all of the spices to a small mixing bowl and whisk to combine.
  2. Transfer to an airtight container and store in a cool, dark place until ready to use
To make it a little spicier add 1/2 teaspoon of Crushed Red Pepper

To add a little sweetness add 1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar

Use about 2 Tbs of mix per pound of burger.

Yes, it sounds good, mouser…I make my own Italian seasoning…I use it in place of oregano, cause I find straight oregano to be very overpowering…

For the Italian seasoning…
I mix Oregano, Basil, Thyme, Rubbed Sage, Rosemary, and Marjoram.
