in my kitchen when I make a recipe that uses a lot of ingredients: a teaspoon of this, a tablespoon of that, etc You know the drill.

SO, I see all these cooking shows (ATK for one) that use little dishes for pre-measuring the ingredients, be they powder or liquid.

Found these and gifted myself them for Christmas

Not too big, not too small and just the thing for holding those spices before mixing

I have some 6 oz ramekins I use for small amounts of chopped/diced ingredients. For spices etc I just use the containers or put some in one hand and sprinkle it on with the other.

I have a couple of different ingredient catchers that I have collected over time. I use them a lot when I am cooking. I get everything out, measured, and ready before I begin assembling anything.
Yup, makes it easy like that.

They look nice and they are expensive. I have many like them. I will admit they all came from restaurants.
We collected them over the years. None are the exact same. All different sizes and colors.
So I'm busted I guess.
They're quite a bit cheaper if you look on Amazon US. @LeonardoDaBenz shared from Amazon CA.

You comment reminds me of a legend in our family. My Aunt was known for swiping napkins from restaurants but, only if they had their logo embroidered or printed on them. This was back in the late 60s, early 70s when cloth napkins were the norm.

Decades later she made a quilt out of them. 😆

Of course everything is cheaper US. Economies of scale.

Plus, in order to discourage CDN shoppers, they will charge $1,000 shipping on a $10 item because they don't want the hassle of shipping here
