I made my Any Fruit Torte yesterday with strawberries,.
I make this easy tort with all kinds of fruit, peaches, pears,
blueberries, apples, strawberries…it so fast and delicious…
Don’t forget to save some fruit to top the cake with.

Any Fruit Torte.
8 tablespoons sweet butter - very soft
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tea vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tea baking powder
1/2 tea salt
Put into a greased 9” pie pan and top with
any fruit of your choice...can peaches are great,
so are sliced apples...the fruit sinks a bit during baking.
350* 40-45 min.
note…the last pic is what it looks like after it comes out of the oven
a delicious crust forms on top…some of the fruit sinks. This one pictured
is fresh ripe sliced pears and blueberries. 😋

@Two knots in the first picture, is that topped with strawberries or did you bake it with strawberries as well? Because that looks friggin awesome!
princess, you put your fruit all over the top, when baking it the fruit sinks and a yummy crust forms around the half sunken fruit…when I served the strawberry torte I added slice strawberry on top of the torte ( before serving) and then whipped cream.

here is two more that I made before and after pics…can peaches on one and fresh sliced pears and blueberries on the next one.

this is so easy to whip up, I often do so, when I have the oven on with whatever I’m making for dinner. I often make apple ones, cause I always have apples in the house.

on the last pic, I didn’t have any whipped cream, so, I mixed a little sugar in sour cream.😋

donno, I never tried frozen fruit.
Just wondering. As I've said before where you are you can get things that aren't in the stores here. Like fresh berries, they are gone from the stores now so frozen is the only option when they are out of season.

I’ve had success with canned peaches, canned pears and fresh sliced apples, however never tried frozen fruit.
