Wouldn't bookmarks be one solution to this especially with labels. You have the pics and recipes. Of course this is what the recipe forum is for. It's all there. And I think there are other features that members can use to save pics to and share with members.

I've seen those at restaurants. Had a slightly smaller one but still needed a knife and fork. Defeats the purpose of a (hand-held like it's supposed to be) burger.

Looks like a pic off the internet. That would possibly be a purpose for sub forum.
Yeah, I'm thinking of a photo thread for food-related pics that make you drool, even if you've not made them yourself or you're never going to make them yourself.

It could contain pictures from here, something we see on the internet, or anywhere. Something that appealed to your senses for whatever reason...food related. 😉

How does the title "Delicious Debauchery" sound to y'all?

And I moved this to the Dinner Table, so we can also discuss the idea and names without bothering the VS Admins. 😊

@LeonardoDaBenz this section was your idea. Are you good with Delicious Debauchery for the name? Being a new forum, we hesitate to use the words food porn at this time, so needed to come up with another fun way to express the same concept.

And I'm thinking out loud, so I'd like to get input from y'all. Do you think this should be a sub-forum maybe in the On The Air section or just its own thread? Because I also need a place to dump the million and one cooking memes I have saved.

Until we have a lot more active members the less forums the fuller they they look and the more interesting the site is to visitors. A subforum can always be elevated to full forum status if it becomes busy.

You da boss and the final call is yours. I just offer an opinion.

Semantics here. I call familycheftalk . com a forum and (for example) this "Dinner Forum" a sub-forum although I guess fcf .com is a website and "Dinner Forum" is a forum 😉

I need to fix that in my head  🤣

You're not wrong. FCT is called a forum.

The big bold headings are called categories then in those categories we also have forums, and then those forums can have sub-forums.

Confused yet?

Not at all confused. An analogy. The dog (categories) has fleas (forums) and the fleas also have fleas (sub-forums). A filing system not unlike your favorites folder on your computer. Open it and other folders spill out. Open one of those folders and something else spills out.

We'll start off with a thread and see what happens. 🤞
