In my bunt pan…I substituted strong
Boiling black coffee for the boiling water
The bunt Pan took 50 minutes at 350°
I made a cream cheese frosting
Cream cheese frosting recipe
4 Tablespoons unsalted butter
4 ounces cream cheese
About 2 1/2 cup confectionery sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons half and half…mix
with electric mixer.
Frost cake and then refrigerate cake
for about 1/2 hour to firm up frosting.
Store cake in fridge. This last for one week in fridge…
you could easily half this recipe and bake it in a 6” bunt pan.
It is a old recipe that is outrageously delicious.
