Wife wants such a pizza. Have any of you made such a pizza or know of a recipe?

Apparently, goat cheese on a pizza isn't "uncommon," meaning I found a couple of recipes that featured goat cheese (which I adore but haven't had in ages.)

Note: I've not made this, but I've been successful with some of this site's other recipes.

That sounds good and has a lot of possibilitys. I wonder if canned asparagus would work OK. Nah, I don't like canned even the home canned asparagus I made.

As for asparagus the only way I'll eat it is raw or maybe lightly grilled, not mushy. I developed a fondness for raw vegetable when I worked in a large hotel kitchen in Galveston. I was the poor ** that got to cut up the veggies and tear up the greens. I ate the trimmings or took them home for my compost pile.

I found the recipe I was thinking of but not going to make it. A Pioneer Woman recipe. I had forgotten it had prosciuttio on it also. That put it out of my ball park, cheapest I found was HEB brand at near $6/3oz and need 6 oz. Maybe I'll check out using Black Forest Ham.

Probably, I forgot that it wants fig preserves also. I have fig jelly maybe that would work.

I barely cook asparagus. Really all I do is threaten it with hot water or the grill. I really like them.

When I need things like prosciutto I just have the deli slice or cut it to what I need. Small amounts while still expensive are easier on the mind.

Back from WM and as I found typical of grocery websites recently it was incorrect. I got a 6 oz pkg of prosciutto for $7.48, acceptable. Also got the goat cheese but the arugula was an arugula baby spinach blend. I'll make a pizza dough later today.

You know for me pizza is another thing I leave to the pros. We have two shops that make excellent pizza but its fairly expensive. But we got an extra large pepperoni last night on the way home and 8 small containers of garlic butter for $23. Enough pizza for another dinner or two and lunch for me at least 3 more times.
I like to dip my crust into the garlic butter. In fact I ask my wife for her crusts.

Making pizza is fun especially the dough. But I cannot compete with our local pros.
