I haven't made it in a while but this is good stuff.

I first discovered it in a Paula Deen cookbook my wife has.

Taste wise that recipe looks great BUT I hate to say it but store-bought is cheaper than making it yourself (at least when I use CDN pricing for the ingredients). Usually get it on sale here for $4. That's taking into account reducing the recipe size to the store size.

For example, ONE pound of butter here is almost $8CDN (so $6 USD). :cry:

Looks to me like any other cream cheese dip or spread. You are not really making cheese at all. I expected a recipe and instructions to actually make cheese.
Technically you are correct BUT well, lots on line. Here's one

then add your herbs, etc

Yes Leonardo is correct. Technically it is a "blend" invented by Francois Boursin.
